So my story is that after grade 12, I did not decide as such on a college, but was certain that I wanted to got Mumbai, the city of dreams. I had watched Wake up Sid multiple times and had envisioned myself sitting on Marine Drive, in the middle of the night, contemplating life! Well then, things changed. I went to Bangalore instead. Bangalore is not as hyped as Mumbai after all. What I didn't know was the city has its own way of beguiling the sceptics.

It was the first unexpected rain of the season that made me fall in love with the city. Even I don't have as many mood swings as this city weather has! Carrying an umbrella always is not a futuristic fashion choice, but a necessity! Rushing into the class with a cup of hot coffee from the canteen, covering the cup with a paper because of the rain was my typical college scene.

Bangalore has managed to cling to its roots with its magnificent gardens, and connected with the contemporary with its futuristic IT Parks. If you find yourself in Bangalore, do visit the Lalbagh and Cubbon Park to relish the fresh air. Don't forget to carry your camera with you! If hills are more of your liking, begin the day with the beautiful Nandi Hills that guard the city. Then take your taste buds on a ride by visiting traditional Dosa places. Apart from major Dosa places, there are also these little cute Dosa stalls that sell 99 varieties of varied Dosa! Corn, peas, paneer, chocolate, spinach, and you just name an ingredient and it will find a place on your Dosa thali. Bangalore is also famous for its breweries and cafes. The nightlife is not as happening as the ones in Mumbai and Delhi, but places like Koramangala, MG Road and Indiranagar won't disappoint you for sure. Mostly, all these destinations are connected by an accessible metro train. The city in itself is like an amalgamation of 10 different cities with varied lifestyles. I, thus, cannot review the entire city based on my experience in Koramangala. Just like any metro city, issues like traffic will always be the buzzkill. But do visit the city to form your own opinion!
