C -23 — Finding Peace in Pieces
This is a shout-out to all those shattered specks which make the world sprinkle and sparkle.
Remember the days when pillows were used as weapons to fight on sleepovers, and not as shields to absorb our outpour on sleepless nights?
A lot may have happened between the times when we wailed in public to get things we DIDN’T have, to sobbing in seclusion to get the things we COULDN’T have.
As weird as it may sound, but can we all just try enjoying the jingle which our broken hearts make? The kaleidoscope with all it’s broken pieces makes resplendent patterns. The moon with all it’s uneven craters stands as a monument of poise. May you with your broken pieces prick those who try to pull you down and empower those who themselves feel dead inside. Cynics will laugh at your cracks not realising, that despite those, you still find the courage to face their world everyday with the same zeal as they do. Let not the tears from your past blur your vision to envisage a buoyant present.
Set out to heal the broken people around ; who knows, in that journey, you end up getting a taste of your own medicine.
